Spring 2012

{February 2012}

{Mar 2012}

{May 2012}

So I never really got around to scrapping MW's nursery...thought I better do something before I change it all this summer. HA!

So dare I say it I am pretty much all caught up for 2012, besides a few family things. Guess that leaves more time to watch Gilmore Girls re-runs. ;)

Scrapbook 2012 Pt1

Hello! Welcome to my new scrapbooking blog!
Why the change you ask?
Well, 1. because it will take up less MB on my other blog and
2. it can serve as place to answer questions that come up regarding scrapbooking.

I will eventually start moving have moved over past posts from my personal blog.

And now without further ado

Scrapbook Pages 2011

 I am slowly getting caught back up again. I swear to myself every time I get "caught" up to stay that way, but something always seems to pop up like facebook. HA! To keep me from doing it. :)

 Here are the pages from the end of the year for our Family Scrapbook. The beauty of digi scrapping is I can print these pages 3x and get them in everybody's books. Easy peasy lemon squeezy. :)

{Christmas 2011}
I have SO many pictures from Christmas and all we did leading up to it. A good scrapbooker probably would have taken the time to scrap each "event." Me not so much. I love collages and just "threw" them all in one big Christmas Tradition Page
Santa!!

Christmas Eve--where I sucked it up big time, and left our camera at my MIL!!! Grrrr... And had to use our video camera to take pictures. Better than nothing? Maybe. ;)
A friend of mine, who rocks at photography, told me black and white is more forgiving of crappy pictures, so we shall see how this comes back from the printers...

Family Christmas Festivities. Haven't decided about this page yet...something different that is for sure.

Daddy's 30th Birthday. Dec 2010

Year in Review of Lo and MW. There were just too many adorable photos of them together to do just one brother and sister page, so once again the collage effect won out! Another perk of digi scrapping is I made Lo's page more girly for her and with a few clicks of the keyboard I popped in more boyish papers for Micah and viola in 3 extra minutes two pages.

I just love these two together, more than I ever thought I would. I know that sounds weird, but I just didn't know how the whole bro/sis thing would be. And boy do they love each other. I hope they will always be friends.

I still have a few pages from fall to catch up on and then I can finally start on 2012! I know you are all just thrilled for me. Thank you. ;)

Micah' First Year Scrapbook (10-12m)

Micah's first year scrapbook is nearly complete! I can't believe we have gone a whole year already. He has changed and grown so much. I love having these memories to look at whenever I want.

{month 10}

I need to go back and fix that journaling! Yuck. Too busy...

{month 11}

{month 12: First Birthday.}
Once I get his One Year Pics taken then I can complete chapter ONE of Micah Bear. My friend Ginger and I are having a heck of a time getting a moment where her family and mine are well to do his pics. Fingers crossed for next week!!!

And today we are getting ready to celebrate Lo Lo sissy's 3rd Birthday!! Can't believe it. Party post to come. Stay tuned. :)

From Our Family To Yours

Surprise! I am not sending out Christmas cards again this year. I love all of yours, but think the green version is the way to go. {more green in my pocket and it's good for Mother Earth too!}
Merry Christmas!

Micah's Scrapbook

While in the hospital I started trying to figure out how to do a blog book. I don't need anything fancy, just really want my blogs in printed form just to have as a back-up copy in case "big brother" aka Google ever crashes. I had to laugh when I stumbled across my first ever blog post. In it I say how this was going to be my digital scrapbook because "who knows when I will ever actually scrapbook our lives!" At the time I didn't know about digital scrapbooking, I thought there only was paper. Now here I am nearly two years later and fairly caught up. I know lots of you want to do this and I just want to say you can, it isn't as hard as you may think. Believe me I am illiterate when it comes to computers; just ask my husband when I call him in the middle of the day for "tech support."

Leighton's Scrapbook: caught up for the moment

Well my final push to get everyone's scrapbook caught up before month's end is coming to fruition. Yay! Of course as all good scrappers know you only ever caught up for the moment, if it is even possible. I just have a few pages left for our family album, but those seem less important than the kids' albums for whatever reason. But know that I am "caught up" I hope to stay that way and do the pages as they happen as opposed to waiting 6+ months. HA! We shall see.

Here is a look at Lo's through {almost} all of September.
